Atanazio’s journey began in São Tomé before setting sail for Cape Verde. He spent over 30 years gaining world-class professional experience working in the largest resorts across various Cape Verde islands and later in Europe, including the United Kingdom. This extensive international experience shaped him into the highly trained, safety-focused captain he is today.

While in the UK, Atanazio met Sarah, and they built a family. However, the call of their roots was strong. Driven by a shared vision, they returned to Boa Vista to create a business that not only offers premium, safe tours but also invests directly into the local community.

Atanazio and Sarah saw the need for opportunity and support in Boa Vista. Today, every booking directly helps their family-run business facilitate local initiatives, from skills workshops to community support, creating a legacy of hope and empowerment right here where it matters most.
